Had a fanfabulous day off today.
Here are a few highlights:
Went with JM downtown for an interview he had, and visted this lovely redwood garden nestled at the foot of the transamerica building. There is a great bronze sculpture of five children, arms locked, presumably "jumping" over a puddle. The faces of the statue were just so happy, it really made my day (little things like that just really hit me in the heart, I'll tell you!). These happy faces were, of course, surrounded by businessmen and women eating their lunches, texting, emailing, etc, etc...But the children in the statue were the only ones smiling. Just really made me think....
Had a chat with roomie J about how his workouts are working for him, and I was so envious that I raced over to the gym for a super intensity workout on the elliptical. Level 15 is hard!
Had brekkie with best pal/diva B. in the Castro @ Welcome Home, a lovely, homey place with excellent breakfast food. Sadly, I had to see her off on the Muni, as she was returning to rainy Seattle. Return soon, B! Frisco isn't nearly as terrific when you're not here.
Now prepping myself for a dinner party with JM and his pals in the Mish.
Excellent day off, and totally energized for the rest of the week. More later.

I think it is high time you write more on this blog. You are a great writer and have always had a flair for storytelling. Please please don't disappoint me by not starting to write again!!!
